Celebrate Life Foundation

The Celebrate Life Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded to enhance the quality of life for senior citizens through performing arts. Our mission is to rejuvenate mind, body and spirit; enhance community connections; and decrease isolation and depression for seniors by providing opportunties to enjoy the arts.

Over the years, Celebrate Life has sponsored hundreds of free concerts and distributed free event tickets to thousands of seniors. Some of our past performers have included Francine Reed, Theodis Ealey’s blues band, The Rupert’s Orchestra and Dr. Gordon Vernick with the GSU Big Band and Jazz Band.

The demographic makeup of our society is diverse and rapidly changing. The average age of our citizens increases every year. As this change in demographics occurs, we must explore new ways to address the community’s changing needs. Celebrate Life addresses these needs by improving the physical and mental health of our seniors through performing arts programs.
